After the War: worked for various companies until February of 1958 when hired into management at Bell Canada; retired Dec. 31 st 1987; moved to Tavistock in 2000

Comments: After VE Day, volunteered for sea duty in the war against Japan; June 5th 1945 - transferred to cruiser HMCS Uganda; spent another 6 months in the navy - on board first Canadian Navy ship to round Cape Horn, through Panama Canal to Victoria, BC, Member of Tavistock Canadian Legion, Branch #518
