Comments: After VE Day, volunteered for sea duty in the war against Japan; June 5th 1945 - transferred to cruiser HMCS Uganda; spent another 6 months in the navy - on board first Canadian Navy ship to round Cape Horn, through Panama Canal to Victoria, BC, Member of Tavistock Canadian Legion, Branch #518
