Some time ago an individual left this photo at the museum with the words "I know the group was called 'The Washboard Band' but that's all I know. I don't know their names or when or where they played". The photo has been a bit of a mystery ever since.
Looking at the band "uniforms" it's obvious that the group had a good sense of humour. It's equally obvious they played during a time when political correctness wasn't so correct. Certainly they had musical ability. It takes talent to play these instruments, most especially the coffee pot.
Who are these people? What is the person third from the left holding?
If you can provide any information about The Washboard Band please contact the Historical Society. Thank you.
